Icom MXA-5000 AIS Dual Channel Receiver

The new MXA-5000 dual channel AIS receiver allows boat owners to receive AIS information from just a single unit. The MXA-5000 simultaneously receives both Class A and Class B AIS signals on these two channels outputs this real-time information to an external display such as your PC or a chart plotter. The unit also features an integral VHF antenna splitter so you can utilise your existing VHF antenna. 

Simply connect the MXA-5000 to your PC or chart plotter and you are up and running and be able to display other AIS-equipped vessels over your cartography. This provides you with details of their speed, course and other information including the MMSI number, name of vessel and destination

• Receives AIS signals on CH87B (161.975 MHz), CH88B(162.025MHz) simultaneously
• GPS receiver data output port for multiplexing GPS and AIS data
• Shares single VHF antenna with VHF radio (no additional antenna needed)
• Can be mounted on your boat just about anywhere, vertically or horizontally
